LMS Student Council Members Advocate at the State Capitol

STUCO with Rep

Members of our Student Council visited the Kansas State Capitol for Youth Mental Health Advocacy Day, where they met with a senator, observed the House in session, and learned how their voices can make a difference in their community.

On February 10, members of our Student Council traveled to Topeka to visit the Kansas State Capitol for Youth Mental Health Advocacy Day. During their visit, students met with Kansas Senator Scott Hill, observed the House of Representatives in session, and learned about the importance of advocating for themselves and others in their community. They discovered that their voices have power and that they can make a meaningful difference in the world around them.
