LMS Scholars Bowl is an academic league activity where teams compete against 4–6 other schools by answering trivia questions from many subjects, including history, science, literature, math, fine arts, current events, and Kansas history. Students do not need to know every subject to participate, as teamwork and individual strengths are important. Scholars Bowl is for students who enjoy academic competition and are invited based on good grades and attendance.
LMS Scholars Bowl is an exciting academic league activity that brings together students who love to compete in trivia and test their knowledge across a wide range of subjects. Throughout the season, LMS teams compete in meets against 4–6 other league schools, answering fast-paced questions that span history, literature, science, fine arts, current events, Kansas history, and math.
One of the great strengths of Scholars Bowl is that students do not need to be experts in every subject to participate. Teams are most successful when students bring different strengths and interests to the table, working together to contribute their knowledge. Collaboration, quick thinking, and teamwork are just as important as content knowledge.
Scholars Bowl is designed for students who enjoy learning, competition, and academic challenges. Students who demonstrate strong grades and good attendance are invited to participate, reflecting the commitment and responsibility needed to succeed in this league activity.
