Lakewood's STaR Achievement Club was created to bring attention to and celebrate the success of our Mustang student body. Strong academic achievement, responsible and safe behavior, and a conscious display of maturity exemplifies what makes a Lakewood Mustang.
The Basics to Know:
- To be eligible for a club, your student has an entire grading period. The next grading period is when he/she receives an incentive.
- The eligibility for a club starts over every new quarter.
- Fourth quarter data will still earn your student a Club level, but instead of receiving the predetermined incentives, he/she will be entered in drawings for the end of the year incentives. (Due to not seeing the students in the summer.)
The overall program was discussed in Advisories and fliers sent home for parents/guardians. Ask your student for the flier and take the opportunity to set goals for the school year together. Any questions, ask the student for clarification. You can also contact Mr. Emig at LMS.
