Sixth grade students at Lakewood enjoyed a field trip to the Abilene Heritage Center. The trip included a flour mill demonstration, exploring a one room schoolhouse and a taste of what life was like over 100 years ago. The trip tied into English Language Arts classes Technology and Exploration unit.
