Lakewood is holding a peer mediator interviews for the 20/21 school year.  The purpose of this group is to get students involved and allow opportunities for them to help others within the school building.  This group will help to plan the 6th graders first day, provide orientation for new students, lead Advisory circle time, and help in the Stang Store.  Applications for the program are available in the main office with Mrs. Johnson and will be due by the end of the school day on March 6th.

Any 8th grader interested in Cheer for Central next year, stop by the front office before or after school to get an application.

MUSTANG PRIDE:  Respect Self and Others:  I learned the hard way that I cannot always count on others to respect my feelings, even if I respect theirs.  Being a good person doesn't guarantee that others will be good people too.  You only have control over yourself and how you choose to be as a person.  As for others you can only choose to accept them or walk away.
